This park has 70 acres of space to walk, run, and play! It has soccer and lacrosse fields, trails, a gorgeous lake and fountain, and a playground. With clean bathrooms and picnic benches, this is a great place to bring the whole family for a day outdoors.

Rock Hill Brewing is served at Millstone Pizza and Taphouse in downtown Rock Hill. Quality brews and a relaxing atmosphere make this a great place to have a great time! Servers get orders in and out fast. The combination of live music, food, and the unique seating always draws crowds!

This natural history museum is suited well for both kids and adults. It features exhibitions on a wide range of natural topics, focusing on the ecology and history of the Carolina Piedmont from prehistoric times to now. You will really enjoy this place if you are fond of animals, and there's a planetarium as well! 

While it's located slightly outside of Rock Hill towards the NC-SC border, Carowinds is undoubtedy one of the best things to do near Rock Hill! Each ride in this park is a huge thrill. Apart from the rides, there are also a number of activities, games, and other attractions. Visitors love the water rides here, especially during the hottest days of summer, and there are annual events for Halloween and Christmas.

Ribs and smoked chicken served here are truly heavenly. It is one of the highest rated BBQ places in Rock Hill, and the quality has been consistently good over the years. We highly recommend!

This center's mission is to preserve the history of the Catawba tribe, carry on its traditions, and educate the public about its legacy in the Piedmont. They offer classes on traditional Catawba handcrafts, including basket weaving, pottery, foraging, and more, or you can buy finished pieces at the Trading Post. Interested in Catawba history? Locals find this garden to be really beautiful and not very crowded. In warm weather, you can see many different types of flowers as well as wildlife such as turtles. Visible blooms in this area include wisterias, camellias, dogwoods, and azaleas. There are a number of spots to relax, along with several swinging benches. An annual Rock Hill festival called Come-See-Me was inspired from this garden. You will not have to pay an admission fee to use this venue, although there may be a fee for special events.
